This barn was built in 1940 by Sidney Hutchinson of Sutton. The original 40' x 60' New England barn built by Nathan Waters in 1849 was destroyed in the 1938 hurricane.  Dorothea had this small barn built for a garage on the site of the original Nathan barn.
